RACE UPDATE APRIL 26, 2008 – NASCAR WHELEN SERIES-
ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY, ROSEVILLE, CA

Bumbera scored her second top five finish in 2008 with a fourth place finish in Roseville. In only her second race at All American Speedway Bumbera put the #00 TXI-Riverside Cement Chevrolet on the front row just .07 seconds off of the pole position. With a four-car invert Bumbera started third. While running a very strong race a double file restart caused Bumbera to line up outside behind a lapped car slowing her down at one point in the race. She would recover passing a couple of cars late in the race to finish fourth out of a twenty-car field.

Golden State Racing owner, Frank Jordan, said, “Kristin demonstrated patience and aggressiveness as needed. I had a great time as her spotter helping her get through traffic and she responded well to Eric Snyder's (her crew chief) input on her line and a few brake adjustments as the race progressed. Eric and I see real potential in Kristin...her style reminds me very much of our veteran driver Eric Schmidt.”

Kristin Bumbera’s next race is May 3rd at All American Speedway and will be her first 100-lap race at this track.
